James is an associate with SSP Law, working with the Estate Planning, Corporate & Transactional, and Real Estate practice groups.

James earned his juris doctorate at The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, Cum Laude. James was a Managing Editor for the Ohio State Business Law Journal and received the CALI Award for Excellence in Business Bankruptcy. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business from the Miami University Farmer School of Business, where he played club rugby and was a member of the Amicus Curiae Pre-Law Society of Miami University.

While in law school, James externed at the Office of the Ohio Attorney General and worked summers at various law firms, focusing on corporate and real estate transactions.

James lives with his wife Libby and their 2 rescue dogs. During his free time, James enjoys biking, playing golf and pickleball, taking his dogs around the city, and spending time with his 9 siblings and their families.
