Since 2000, Bill has focused his practice on real estate financing and commercial law transactions. Bill’s clients include financial institutions (in a variety of legal issues related to commercial and residential real property transactions), real estate investors and entrepreneurs, corporate clients, real estate developers, homebuilders, hotel operators and ownership groups, non-profit corporations and real estate brokerages and salespersons. He was previously employed as the Lobbyist and Public Affairs Director for the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors.
Bill has developed a significant commercial financing and transactional practice, working with local, regional and national banks and other financial institutions.
SSP’s real estate team prepares, negotiates and reviews contracts, leases and a variety of documents related to leasing, financing, acquisition and selling of all types of real estate. Bill has been involved in a vast number of transactions with high levels of complexity and smaller, simpler transactions. Bill and SSP’s real estate team of lawyers and paralegals assist with the due diligence process, all title, escrow, and closing aspects plus post-closing matters involved with the acquisition and sale of real estate. Our real estate practice also involves the preparation and negotiation of other documents related to joint venture agreements, easement agreements, and construction escrow agreements.
Bill and his wife, Alli, live in Anderson Township and have four children: Andrew, Luke, Zoe, and Hope. They enjoy sports and traveling. Together, the Patterson family is active in their church, school and community. Bill is a member of the Miami Valley Christian Academy Athletic Boosters and volunteers as a youth basketball and football coach.
